• I recognize most of the designs from her other books, but they are in different combinations so unless you have them all you will still get lots of new designs. Personally I'm such a big fan that I'm thrilled to color some of my favorites all over again, and it fits in my purse just fine.
  
  The pages are not perforated like the larger books, but I am able to pull them from the spine without ripping them so that works for me.
• This is about half the size of a standard 8 1/2 X 11 book, which I knew going in. That's perfect for me because sometimes I just want to color for a little while and hate leaving a page only partly colored. It's just a thing I have, lol. But these pages you can color in a jiffy so On-The-Go is a really appropriate name. The ONLY issue I have with this wonderful little book is that it does NOT have a stiff backing to it, just your standard not quite heavy cover stock. I've got other "portable" coloring books and the backing on them is at least an eighth-inch thick if not more. SO convenient for actually being "on the go"! Except for this detail, I would have given this little lovely 4 1/2 stars if halves had been available. -)
• I love to color and really do believe that it is relaxing. I have put on movies and sat down with a coloring book and it's great. This little book is awesome for this because it's small and the pictures are so cute too. The pages are perforated so you can easily tear them out if you want to as well. There are some pages that contain a lot of detail and some that are less detailed which is nice as well.
• THe pictures are small, but most are still really detailed. Overall, I like most of the pictures, and I've been having fun coloring them. This isn't my normal style of coloring, but it's fun. And fast!
• I just received my most recent coloring books from DesignOriginals by Thaneeys McArdle and it is wonderful! This Adult Coloring addition to is appreciated. I originally started with the large, 8x11 size and have spent my doctors appointments, and other wait times with great enjoyment and have been amazed at how fast the time passes with my little coloring book. At times I have been asked about my new portable hobby. The smaller size fits right in my purse with my smaller size coloring pencils (available here on ). Both fit very well in my purse. I favor less detailed images because I get overwhelmed but Thaneeya McArdle does a nice job of bridging too child like images and the very detailed ones that take me back to the old paint-by-number products. Give it a try. You might find some fun! I am a grandmother of five and I put my pictures on THEIR refrigerators!
• As a small, portable book (great for vacation/cruise/airport/airline), it's perfect. I saw this in Michael's Crafts, but it was more expensive so I ordered it from . I typically color with pencils, but I think I'm going to use crayons for these. Lots of cute designs. It's not overly intricate... just enough "oomph" to give you the ability to really make the images pop with a variety of colors. Would also be perfect for kids in restaurants to keep them occupied while waiting on food so they don't get bored and rambunctious.
• I purchased this as a gift .In general I only give something I would like to receive myself .This book is filled with cute pictures to color and it is compact ,so easy to take with you . I would give this again for sure .The pages are a nice thickness to prevent bleeding through the page ,If you liked your masterpiece you could easily frame it .
• Very nice and compact adult coloring book. You can simply take with you and some coloring pencils etc in your purse if you have to perhaps wait in an office for a doctors visit and know it will be long. The pictures are great and I love coloring in this smaller book. Also makes it great to use to color and then place on wooded projects with some mod podge etc. the possibilities are endless.
